And so since I wrote this entry in my own blog today, thought i'd publish this here as well. This blog's starting to become ancient, so let's just revive it again!

While eating dinner today, I suddenly reminisced about jc days where i guess i had my best school days in my entire life. School days in hc were probably the most fun and meaningful cos I had great company, had great teachers who taught faithfully (and disciplined faithfully), and really really had a lot of fun, through my class and cca and through after-school days with mug club. hahaha.. =) I guess the work hard play hard mentality was really fulfilled during jc days (nowadays I only play hard.. =P).

Anyway, i missed orientation. And the mass dance. And the song sessions. So I went youtube and did a search and found our 04 orientation video!! OMG haha I remembered when I first watched it I died laughing.. haha..

Tadaa!! Hahaha.. the first advertisement bits are damn creative man.. I laughed until peng. Especially the mr pang advertisement (the hp tech one). Reminded me of days we had to do cs.. haha.. And oh the first day of orientation really is damn boring!! hahaha.. can so relate to the yawning bits..

Speaking of discipline, here's something else I found online as well..

Sigh. If only camera phones were common those days. I bet there were many more memories which could be filmed down and remembered.. Days of lectures with teachers doing funny stuff. =P Not to be made fun of, but really to recall where those laughter were generated from..

For those who are asking about lunch.. I didn't specifically asked sam to serve us lunch (paiseh la) so if you fear starving (actually sam usually will serve us something) maybe you guys can take a light bite or something before coming.

Whee so exciting right? Heh. Anyone interested to go minds cafe after that lemme know!

Hey Hey guys!!

I will be working at the Singapore Science Centre’s Digital Art and Technology Exhibition as an exhibition guide this coming December. If you have loads of time to spare, and you haven’t visited the Science Centre for a long time, maybe it’s time to visit (me)!! Hahahah. I promise that I’ll be biased and show you guys around, ignoring the rest of the visitors! Ahhah. Do let me know in advance though; I am not there every single day. =)

Hi guys!

I met chiok and sab in school today! 2 juniors in 1 day! Haha.. what a coincidence!

Anyway, here's just some newly delivered news from sab. [or maybe you guys know already but I dunno la so anyway.]

MAF is on the 15th of September!!!!!!

Hope to have a class outing on that day.. Will let you all know when the date's nearing. For now.. do spread the word! And hope to see everyone on that day!

Hello.. since filbert is kindly requesting someone to revive our blog [with him not taking any actions], I shall have the honour of doing so. Hehe.. =P

Anyway, hmmm maybe just to update everyone on my life ba. School has started for me. Taking quite horrible courses this sem [including 2 LAW modules *puke blood*]. I have a really scary taxation tutor who has a reputation of screaming at people to stop presenting in class cos "your presentation is REALLY BAD!" and saying rather demoralising comments to you if you say something other than constructive and meaningful [to her]. Quite pressured to meet her expectations [I've just posted a comment on her discussion board and got back quite a number of dissapointing remarks] so I gotta say, I can't believe I'm starting this sem in a state of paranoia.

I'm still currently staying in hall [hall 15 to be exact], and I have a new roomie! =) She's a freshie taking Chinese and eh I kinda feel demoralized in my Mandarin skills after speaking to her. Zhihua and zhiyi just visited my place on thursday! Anyone interested for a visit can still look for me. But I don't have much stuff to entertain you guys except for food, drinks and my lappie. Hahaha..

Meanwhile, pee club just met up yesterday for lunch! =) We went spageddies and I must say the food there is quite nice! I know you guys went there for class outing earlier [I forgot why I couldn't make it] so I guess you guys will agree with me heh. =P And there we discovered big news! BUT I shall not say anything. =)

Erm ok that's about all I guess. My weekends are currently burnt due to a variety of reasons [and not just cos of my mid-year or end-year happiness thank you - me and my bf are kinda busy with school life as well], just to clarify.

I haven't heard from you guys for a long time.. please update on your current lives [AND status]! Ok I shall go back to my tax, then I'll have to go for cca le. oh OH! Just for NTU gals, anyone interested in joining WSC's Regular Service Project - Hearing Impaired? Very fun de, can learn sign language, and give tuition to deaf kids! =D Our welcome tea session is on 22nd Aug!!! Come come and make your lives meaningful! =)

(tho you might need to scroll down a little, coz my entries are a little long.) anyway, thanks a lot for the card and the outing that day before i left. really appreciate it. would love to update more, but internet here is really bad (you can read my blog for more details.) currently, i'm a room attendant in housekeeping. so i'm like the cleaning person you meet in hotels who start knocking on doors and saying, "hello, housekeeping!" and make your beds and clean your toilets. haha. hm, okay lah, i gtg. take care everyone! =)

Happy New Year everyone!!! ^_^

It's time to start off the year 2007, and I thought what better way to start it than putting our memories of 04S68 here before we permanently forget them. Hahas.. actually I wrote this entire list a long long time ago, last year june in fact. But for the benefits of those who are unable to see, here they are. =) With a little alteration heh. Do add more k??? I'm sure my memory's not so good and I can't remember every single thing that happened. Heh.

Memories of being in 04S68...

I miss walking to class bench and see everyone in the class bench.
I miss walking over to chinese high for morning assembly.
I miss not singing the high school song and hearing the chinese high boys (and ex-boys) singing their hearts out.
I miss the morning announcement pple going "Good morning hwa chong here are your morning announcements for today".
I miss going to classes or lectures early to put bag and go toilet with pee club.
I miss the leaking toilet and the toilets with cockroaches that left me screaming and running out of it.
I miss decorating my name on my lecture notes.
I miss mass vandalism on pee club's notes when we all passed along smiley faces to each other during math lectures.
I miss math lectures where everyone takes out everything else except math notes to do.
I miss lectures voices of mr tang, mr wong (the ehh ehh teacher), holy, tbb.
I miss circulation of sweets and class outing votes around the lt.
I miss the din s6 creates before lecture starts such that almost every teacher has to shout at us to quieten down.
I miss the time when mr lee stuck 5 golden tickets in the audi and kj got chosen even though he had no golden ticket underneath his seat.
I miss the other time when mr lee made us go to the audi and we sang bdae song for him after lecture, and he made us to "stay back for cs". Heehee. =P
I miss angela's bravery to ask holy to lower the mike volume to no avail. Oh not forgetting the covering of ears during arenes lecture.
I miss the sudden blackout during physics lecture and everyone started playing with their hp lights and shadows.
I miss econs timed trial when everyone exchanges points the day before and on the day itself - either to the entire class's advantage or disadvantage.
I miss lemon chicken rice on tues and thurs after pe lessons and lecture.
I miss seeing yuxi spilling food on herself.
I miss eating yong tau foo and seeing me and manda taking normal soup while others eat with tomyam.
I miss days when kj and me and a few others will have food competition.
I miss collecting postcards from the postcard area.
I miss visiting the bookshop to look at magazines.
I miss seeing zhiyi protect her precious white bag from everyone.
I miss seeing jieying putting in her best effort to speak chinese properly.
I miss seeing teachers' flabbergasted faces when they see pee club filing to go to the toilet after putting our bags. =P
I miss times when the girls upfront complain that the aircon was too cold and the guys behind complain that the classroom was like an oven.
I miss doing comprehension in mr mcgregor's class.
I miss sleeping during reading periods in mcgregor's class too.
I miss g tan's interesting anecdotes about herself or her daughter during tutorials.
I miss mr loi's asking of "So what are we going to do today?" seeing that most of us didn't do our tutorials.
I miss having asking the class to stand before tbb gesture our class to sit before even greeting.
I miss how sam lee will step into the class and look as if he ran 2.4km. =P
I miss how we dilly dally before pe lessons hoping that it would rain and change so absolutely slowly into our pe attire so as to be 20 mins late for pe.
I miss sam lee playing music during lab sessions.
I miss sitting in physics lab and daryl vandalising my tutorial.
I miss spa sessions where everyone tries to hunt other class pple down for tips. =P
I miss playing on the lan pok piano with zhihua in the fishtank during breaks.
I miss seeing the embarassed faces of the guys during the first swimming lesson.
I miss sambal fried rice with pee club after that.
I miss the occasional sessions of eating at chinese high during 2 period break.
I miss watching movies and comedies during CT session.
I miss times when we have to stand under the hot sun in the field during (forewarned) firedrills ~~that always happen during CT session~~.
I miss playing tennis with pee club.
I miss stoning at the class bench on mon noon before our *gasp* 3 hr long chem lesson with sam.
I miss our macs session (and not forgetting the memorable mass capture) =P
I miss going to staff room only to be stopped in my tracks by sam lee.
I miss going for consultation with g tan bringing my entire file of notes and asking silly questions, returned only by g tan's exasperated glares.
I miss carrying huge piles of scholarship guides or other rubbish and dumping them on the class bench only to be ignored by the class.
I miss signing birthday cards and circulating them around the class.
I miss hearing shawn and alwyn's funny antics.
I miss going to sim after school for mugging sessions.
I miss stopping at the saga tree to help eunice collect her saga seeds.
I miss sitting at the sim bench to cool down and rest.
I miss times when zong cai or sky or mike comes along and talk to us.
I MISS THE FOOD AT SIM. =( Big plates of fish and chips and french fries and fried rice (shared by 6 of us) and tubs of mash potatoes and soup (sometimes on the house).
I miss the eventful mayo session in which no one dared to touch mayo for at least a week thereafter.
I miss illegally koping food from the lectures at 7.30pm (precisely cos that's during the middle of the class) then seeing daryl keep going for second helpings and helping us to kope more.
I miss peach tarts and curry puffs and sandwiches and cakes and charsiew soh.
I miss sitting on the metal ledge at the comp area seeing kj chiong bejeweled II.
I miss ipods and mp3 players and radio players spilled all over the sim bench.
I miss swimming sessions with mug club initiated by meishi.
I miss being scolded by the security guards for making so much noise and for installing a virus into their comp (we're innocent).
I miss being scolded by the sim pple for accidentally witnessing our koping of tea and coffee (and thereafter banning us from taking anymore).
I miss repeated offerings by sky to help him with his laptop and internet stuff (only to be cautioned by the guys, or they volunteering to help instead).
I miss times when sky commented that eunice is pretty - only to be mocked at by the guys.
I miss times when mike is on duty and the guys saboh me to buy food cos I know him "better".
I miss sleeping on the sim bench.
I miss the 1.5l green tea.
I miss that memorable guy talk that happened right in front of me (and I was the only girl around). What an eyeopener.
I miss betting with kj before every exam that I'll lose to him in the exam and the winner has to treat the loser.
I miss talking to eunice about my family and relationship problems and having a listening ear and good advices. =)
I miss mugging sessions at kap where I learnt to eat curly fries with mayo and sweet chilli.
I miss my single dota session with the guys and the hundreds of talks about dota.
I miss class outing and pee club outings whereby we always eat. Heh.
I miss everyone in 04S68!!! You guys rocked my life! =)

hey guys! this is my maiden blogging experience! everybody should be proud of me! hehs! =) okays here's the good news! we're going to have a christmas class gathering at kasster's place! the following are the details. (tentative for the moment)

Date: 22/12/06, Friday
Time: evening til night!
Venue: kasster's place
Food: bbq, probably wif turkey and logcake, and of cos potluck items if u guys are interested

Perhaps we could do a christmas exchange of presents, but that would be decided after we cfm the dinner gathering. do pass the word around and tag asap to let us know if u can make it. i bet everybody misses everybody, so do try to make it! =)

alrightey then.. i'm available anytime except 15-19 dec. i'll be off to bangkok to see some transexuals. actually i root for both bbq and night cycling. at least it'll be an either or for those who can only make it for one of the activities. sounds good? for the bbq it'll be best to confirm the date soon lah. seems to me the best dates would be on a friday/sat. we have bout 5 weeks til end of the year so better decide quick eh? in fact.. we COULD have a xmas cum new year gathering. well whatever.. let u guys decide! oh and yeah night cycling.. i could attempt to set a route.. round island will be cool. but EVERYONE MUST BE ENTHU BOUT IT. otherwise not much point u see.. in cycling.. the fun part is 10% cycling and 90% the company. so it'll be cool if it works out yar. that'll be a first for the class.. i'm good any night. wkday or wkend. see how the response is and we can plan an ideal location to meet then start riding from there lah. aight i'm signing off.. take care pple. and decide soon. dun want our gathering to end up in tatters. ciao!

Ok guys... tell you wad. 2 plans for class outing:

1) Night cycling. Won't be for entire class cos not everyone's parents allow, but those who wanna join may come. I think should have an okay response. 8 to 10 will be fine liao. We will need a route planner, so i'll need volunteers please, cos I'm sure you guys will not want to become lost with me.. =P [oh btw.. i'm not allowed also but i can go illegally.. ie on a weekday night. so that i can go back home without being discovered. oops i'm naughty liao. =P] And also. Need reply for who can make it first, so as to coordinate what day can make it. Yupyup.

2) BBQ sounds great! With potluck! Kasster need to confirm with you the date. Will be around late dec right? This one think whole class can come down. =)

I feel like postin again.. coz im abt to embark on a sickening length of army bullshit impressively disguised by the power-pack name exercise stingray, my bosss has this bad habit of tasking me to do all sorts of things... dont understand why he picks on me when all the other guys are lazing ard in camp.. been so busy the past wk installing servers and troubleshooting lans and wans and going up and down from pasir labar camp( tuas ) and selarang camp (changi) laying cables and watching my poor guys burn their precious weekends and nights. Its so hard keeping their spirits high.. especially when mine sinks to the bottom of the sea as well... never felt so low.. i dont mind suffering.. but hate to see ppl im supposed to take care off suffer as well.. am really sick and tired of pretending to be happy and alive when im shagg.... but wad wld my guys do if they saw me givin up... bleah.. really man.. i wish i were studyin instead....... just got home not too long ago from selarang.. think i slept abt 5 hrs this whole wk........................................ BUT GUESS WAT! I think me boss noes wad im doing for him and he just awarded me 5 days off... WOOHAAAAAAAAAAAA .. its gg to be a white christmas.. but pls remember my suffering ends on the 13th... so try not to have too much fun without me... oh yea man... there's a song called white christmas... i loved playin dat one on e piano in my hotel playin daysz... it had such a hm.. it had this ambience man... i think the audience loved it too.. dam.. i love piano.. and i love christmas songs... i want to play christmas songs in like a hotel... but no time and i lost agent toh's number... im gettin a brk tml (sat) before i go back to selarang on sunday to continue my insufferable sufferings.. and i feel like gg cycling.. wld someone like to cycle too..?? i can cycle anywhere man... believe me.. i usually go ard ang mo kio very much up to yio chu kang mrt ard there on sat evenings... i dunno why.. i guess love that area... bishan park is nice too... i want to cycle ard singapore.. like tour de singapore or something............

tmr is the BIG day! presentation day where there'll be big shots coming. dunno who, what to expect, but i'm just hoping for the best, that we won't get shot too much, and even if we do, that we can think on our feet and come up with good answers...

hmm. SMU is not cold! if u mean cold cos of the aircon throughout the whole school then yes, it's cold. but the people that i've encountered here are all a-ok ley. nice and friendly. i've had the priviledge of making great friends here! so we're all mugging together. my whole study break this week i've spent mugging in school till 10pm.. same can be said for jieying... :P

side track abit- today i had to treat my friend breakfast cos i lost a bet! we challenged each other to reach sch at 830am to mug but i got there later cos i woke up at 745 only!! dang. he was gloating the entire morning away la. alwyn! ur cat high senior! TSKTSKTSK. but ah wells. come next fri i'll be HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!! still got research paper. but at least exams will be over!!!!!! yeshhh.

as for class outing.. i think a whole day thing would be more fun! been ages since we went for cycling or something liddat. will be free from 5th dec to 18dec... yeappos. or after christmas! haha. so ns guys, tell seekie when ur free... uni gals, set ur days aside! harhar.

Hi guys! Posting here once again... hehs.

Jiayou to nbs pple for mkting exam tomorrow. We'll make it! Heh. =)

Anyway.. why am I here. Right. CLASS OUTING.

Tentatively, will probably be planning it on the 8th or 9th, partly cos of the need to organise it early. It's the weekends, so ns peeps you guys can come out and play. =)

The weather nowaday's a bit freaky.. i think there'll be rain everyday, so it'll dampen the mood a bit. But still, suddenly there's an urge to organise a class outing at ECP or sentosa or something. I dunno why. But of course, we can stick to the tradition of organising lunch/dinner outings, maybe can watch a movie. Doing an informal poll so please state your preference! Do not worry about saving face.. please spell out your mind, and hope we won't develop group think or the Abilene paradox. Hurhur.. i can still remember my ob stuff. =P

Other brilliant ideas are also welcome! =) Like maybe we can go on a food trail though that will mean spending quite abit. And gaining weight. Hee. Oh ya and also whether will it be better to organise it on a weekday. I'm not sure wad the ns peeps' schedules are like.

Guess wat.. i've decided to post somethin.. coz im bored... im doing armour orderly duty which involves crap like conducting parades, making sure the guys clean the area and just slacking ard, as such im bored.
So Sam is in Shanghai.. that's nice. THe class girls are having exams.. that's not nice. THe class guys are mostly wasting their time.. that could be nice --- its a matter of different point of views. Im talking to jieying now... she is kinda like... in SMU now studying... woah.. give her a clap man... like seriously... i would just close my book and slp if i were her.. dum dee dums..

yesyes, projects and exams all coming!!! super scary la. next fri i gtg sch in office attire cos my classmates are presenting for our module: BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT n SOCIETY and even the audience must dress smartly! then the following fri will be my turn and i will hafta turn up in a suit! kua zhang not?? plus the fact that even though the presentation is ungraded, we will be critiqued n questioned by our classmates, prof, TA (teacher's assistant) PLUS high level discussants from outside, i.e. CEOs and the who's who of the corporate world! and to quote my prof, he said, "within the first 30sec of ur presentation, u got to convince them why they should care about your project and listen to you cos if not, they'll stop listening and choose to check their emails, etc." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then the week after we get shot like swiss cheese during the presentation is exam week, then following that must hand in the research paper! :S

shall be rather busy this coming week. have a case report to hand in by next monday, and a mkt case presentation on mcdonalds. yah. sounds simple but add these assignments and the tutors i have and you get disaster. just ask zhiyi. we share the same mkt tutor and she is rather fussy abt the stuff she wants. : )

though i guess i shouldnt complain. learn a lot from these tutors and its really rather fun. super thankful tt i got pretty nice and work-well-together groups for both modules. just got my obd results yesterday. got a A+ for the 20% worth of project work in the earlier weeks. *cue applause* but its rather odd. felt down even though the grade is good. suddenly realised tt i'll (and all of us) be facing this kind of competition for the rest of our lives. and i wonder what i got myself into. though i know tt competition is everywhere, but it really seems as though i'm taking bigger and bigger steps into the back-stabbing, mercilessly competitive corporate world. and you'll start to wonder how long these friendships you form in class will last once you're assigned to different tutorial groups next sem.

hey guess wat. my birthday juz passed and im 19.. dunno if thats a gd thing. But i did have lots of dun over the 3dayz from 29 sep to 1 oct.. drank a bit.. the whole friday morning was celebrated by my battalion.. yep.. all the usual crap happened.. the banging against the pole the removal of clothes and the throwing into swimming pool shit... kinda expected it but no where to run too... but was fun.. den at night was praboo gang.. and gettin stacked by him is no joke.. dat 90kg elephant is really heavy.. i almost died.. like really..
Sat was fun too... cat high friends with soccer followed by lunch.. and wad a lovely bunch they were... they specially ordered two liverpool books from official pool website... really nice.. so touched... and soccer was very fun.. i missed them so much.. all the happy rubbishy times we had in cat high... ( maybe dats why turnin 19 is a bad thing ).. afternoon was spend wif me family.. by far the quietest.. but definitely most impt one too.. but they never noe wad to get me.. so i usually get lots of money and sports vouchers.. which im more than happy wif.. then kasster and the gang came down... with a little surprise from gloria and jieren... wow i got shocked.. then rounded of the day at holland v .. drinkin wif kenneth and kasster... man.. i was hopin to go somewhere in town with more of the class too... coz i miss the class as well.. even sam.. i guess dat was the only thin missing.. but im more than happy to be recievin all e bdae msgs.. it made me feel bad too.. coz i usually dont remember birthdays.. i think i should make an effort as of now

hello!! haha.. as you can tell.. SMU is really not as happening as it seems.. (why am i the last to know about this?) everyone is basically smart and a mugger.. (hmm reminds u of?) so our whole life is centered around mugging! Group study rooms are perpetually filled.. booked in advance.. the library everyday is almost as packed as HC when nearing to prelims from the first week!! (how did i know that? well i was in there too..) but the worst thing that can happen is when the person sitting beside u gets 125/90 for an accounting quiz.. (is it even possible for an accounting paper?? what happened to simple math?)

CCAs are draining cos 1/3 of the population end lessons at 7, so CCAs start at 7.30.. which brings me to a SAD thing.. I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GO MAF.. cos i have a performance.. (which i thought there would be auditions so i didn't practice and then not get selected) but no.. everyone is supposedly good enough to perform (*rolls eyes cos the seniors have been practising that score for 6 months and i got it 3 wks ago) but hopefully i can play so badly in the next practice that they'll beg me not to play.. *crosses my fingers*.. haha..

okay.. at this point i got d/c and i lost whatever i wrote..(URGH! jia.. now i know how u feel..) so i'm gonna briefly write it agian.. i've seen yuxi, amanda and jieying (yes she's jacqueline) around school.. not often tho.. jieying more than the rest.. but maybe they've seen each other more cos they're all in econs.. i'm the slackest out of all cos i'm doing the least and most slack modules (tt's why i'm here).. but i'm already finding it tough.. so next sem is gonna kill.. dunno what ccas they are in.. think all of them r stressed.. midterms are coming.. quizzes.. projects.. deadlines.. = STRESS.. recess is coming soon but its gonna be so busy.. (even more busy than the break before A levels).. the only thing i'm looking forward to is my biking trip (which i think jy is gg too).. then its 24/6 (one day rest) projs and text.. SIGH... uni is stressful.. whoever who said that jc is more stressful than uni must have mugged SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO freaking hard in JC.. unbelievable..

projs are so getting on my nerves.. (more than PW).. and its sad that most assignments will actually affect ur GPa which will affect ur degree.. even subjects like analytical skills (if A then B, if B then C, A, therfore C) makes u stress, then u doubt ur level of intelligence.. haha.. but u confirm u're not that dumb again when people go all out in seminars to get participation points and say the dumbest things alive.. (gosh.. if i was the prof i'd give them a negative grade)..

but i guess it just takes time.. then it becomes mundane.. boring.. and then 4 years will go by.. (hopefully less)..

yeah.. maybe uni's not as bad as it seems.. either way.. congratulate me cos i decided i shall give up mugging today.. and i won't be mugging tmr.. tho i got a stats and acc test nxt wk.. yes.. maybe i should do the tombstone thing too..

update on teachers. mr loi is going to work in moe next year. looked a bit stressed when we saw him cos there are many pple looking for consultation with him to ling shi bao fou jiao for tmr's physics paper. sam is in charge of maf and he says not to expect too much out of it. ha. and he has just read this blog. bengbeng is still the same old her. just tt now to find her you have to call intercom 108 at the new maths department. min min is like around 5 months pregnant i think. didnt see her though.

aye, would agree that ns does seem to be a waste of time, but then again, i guess if you look back at it after these long long never-seem-to-be-ending two years it would be quite memorable. Shit really binds, and i'm closer to my bmt pals than the guys here at the office. (not to say they're unnice, but hey, who can forget a bunch of kids digging like no tommorow and then stopping to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all? or an entire section just chiong-ing here and there, screaming arty all the way...)

but oh well, i really guess i'm the fortunate one who could get out of it all, because to ask me to go back in is not really possible.... (gp suspects that i have damaged knee meniscus, which flares up during running and all that....probably suffered thru bmt and rifle coy soc.... i think the 'ENDURE!' shouted by the 3SGs seem so funny and ironic now...) sad thing is not able to claim if i go for treatment la, since now office le they can argue otherwise, but well, run less than 3click each time as a rule of thumb now...
which means i'm getting awkwardly plump since there's no way for me to lose the degenerated mass of fats....

do look at my knee sometimes, it's cool seeing that one is a sharpened knee. haha. it looks like it was forced thru some sharpener and made into some blunt 100B pencil. heh.

might seem like fong liang hua, but well, it's gonna be over soon i guess, some of the guys have alr served (haha, i love the word served) half of their time le... while i have like one more year and plus plus....(tho not able to forget ORD for sure one, CHINESE NEW YEAR!)

Sigh.. im bored again... life in camp really sucks... guess i will posting more crap consistently until i grow sick and tired of it and find more ways to entertain myself....
Anyway is wednesday night... thought of going home.. but the thought of travelling all the way back to this unearthly position of a camp im situated in the next morning kinda made me feel crappy and urinaty...

Hows everyone anyway..? other than crappy lecturers and stressful uni life? i think u ppl should not be so stressed.. why are u so eager to perform so well... just relax and enjoy uni life.. its really how u manage ur time.. i mean after uni life its really a one way stress road to retirement with perhaps little bits of happiness in stuff like.. maybe ur honeymoon and child's graduation day. So how bout telling urself u will spend 3-4 hrs everyday doing work.. and then.. go and live life to its fullest! something which i would really love to do but am tied down by the responsibility of caring for 37 insufferable recruits..... not that i hate them.. but they really are a bunch who would kill themselves without guidance... bleahz.

haha.. this is the first time i'm writing anything in any blog k, but to celebrate the revival of our class blog, i shall write something! hahaha!

anyway, i'm having recess week too... unlike eunice, i have nothing on most of the time, BUT i still cant catch up with my work!=( soo many tutorials n project to rush this week.. plus mugging for mid-term tests. i wonder who told me that uni is slacker than JC... RUBBISH.

haha.. and i'm finally starting to appreciate the hc teachers... u should see how bad the lecturers n tutors at NUS are. haha.. its not that they dunno their work i think, its just that i cant understand wad they are talking about most of the time.. cuz of their china accent. (no, i'm not racist). n my MLE tutor is wonderful! he gets us to teach each other during tutorials! the only thing he does is allocating pple to present their answers and explain it to the class.. n at the end of our tutorial he was like, "any other questions, you can go and ask OTHER tutors or the lecturer." haha.. ok, actually not all tutors are like that, its just my tutor...

oh btw, for the benefit of eunice meishi n the other guys who are coming into NUS in 2 years time... please do not take Nation Building. believe me.. its bad. The lecture notes are blank.. so are the powerpoint slides that are shown during lectures. n the speed at which the lecturer talks makes it impossible to take down much... my notes are like 1/10 filled =S

haha.. i think i'm making NUS sound bad. no la.. its not that bad. There's some place called the central forum (quite near engine) that has bazaars almost everyday. do not eat the ramly burger, its not nice n its crazily overpriced. haha. the good thing about bazaars is that there is free milo everyday! haha... last time we only got free milo during x-country lor.

anyway, it's recess break for me, but why is it that i have activities every single day? i thought i could catch up on my work! but it doesn't look too possible. i think most horrible is the long deadlines,, for i will keep dragging the assignment.. =S

helo. its me... alwyn.. and guess wat. i just found out we had a blog like a few days ago.. and decided to mark e occasion with a rubbish statement by "Sam Lee".
It seems like only mugger gang uses this blog.. so i shall start to eh..er.. encourage others to post shit here too so life would feel more like nice ole hc days, coz its true. i miss hc life too like i guess most ppl here.. in xchange for hc life i get crappy crap shit in SAF... which by the way stands for Serve And F*** - off , or some would say Stupit And Fattenizing.. yep.. the widespread propoganda potraying the SAF as a cool, decisive, man-making organization is actually ( I'm being honest and completely unbiased in this ) BULLSHIT! BEcoz,, SAf is so not cool, so retarded indecision making and is fattenizing.... u shld see how horribly over-staffed the are, there is a theory that suggests than at any moment.. the number of SAF personnel doing nothing ( eating is counted as doing nothing ) is actually enough to form two circular chains around the globe! So while SAF argues that they are short on cash to pay for simple things like exterminating pests or building a shelter to the cookhouse, they actually waste like millions on paying ppl do nothing, forcing us poor NSFs to waste 2 yrs of our precious lives..
Oh well... whats to say about SAF... Strange And Frustrating? Simplistic And Foolish? Silly Ass Freeloaders?? haha.. the list could go on forever man... woah... i feel so much better after this!! believe me!! espeically since i have to book in tonight to look after recruits... the poor souls have just embarked on a similar journey to mine.. just that their torture would last longer as off now. I guess my job is to make their lives as pleasant as i possibly can.. no one should deserve 2 yrs of wasting away in various army camps... dude! came here after visiting eunice's blog. suddenly washed back to the hc days. miss everyone a lot. there just seems to be no real connections between the pple here. having dinner at hall 2 on wednesday with xiefy, seekie, zhiyi, mel, kasster, alwyn and angela(?). pple living in the jurong area are very very welcome! : ) yah. my room is always open too. hall 3. and i'll specially on the aircon for the visitors! ha.

i've decided to join in just so you poor deprived people wouldn't be talking to yourselves.

haven't seen much of anyone around. saw lydia once during the freshmen inaug ceremony (there was NOTHING interesting about it. nothing! imagine! not even the free gift!), don't see anyone else around. shares writing module with eunice, but does not feel like we're seeing each other over vaguely registering mutual presence. time spent around her (ie. class time) seems transient. no, i do not actually know what transient means, but it sounds floaty, which is what i meant but cannot bring myself to use.

but what does it matter anyway, because as Descartes (it's pronouced day-cart, all of you suckers who insist on correcting me on des-car-tay, i asked a french guy, so HAH.) and our deceptively nice ice-cream dispensing teacher tells us, eunice might not even exist. she might just be a figment of my imagination and i wouldn't be able to prove it otherwise. (oh, what gruesome imagination.) *ducks flying vegetation*

Anyway yes yes, i know you guys want class outing... was thinking of holding it during sem break.. but i'm not sure whether is nus's and smu's the same as ntu.. ours is 23 sept to 1 oct. heh. post your school's one k? So we can compare! =)

As for updates, I've been seeing zhiyi, jia, mel, xiefy and angela around in school. Me, zhiyi, jia and mel are all in the same group, so we see each other quite often! =) Then recently I met angela at the med clinic... cos both of us were sick! I was down with flu (JUST recovered heh.), and angela had food poisoning..

Yup. Hall update wise, I'm in Hall 15! Mel and jia are roomies in either hall 3 or 16.. cannot remember but i know it's the aircon hall, xiefy's in hall 1, angela's in hall 6! Visitors are welcome! =D (to my room.. the rest you all ask for permission k? But i'm sure should be no prob la haha..)

hm.. just thought i would do my part in updating this blog as well.. went to 06s68's blog and realised that someone actually did a search on all the past s68 classes.. and the person said that our blog was "nothing much" on ourselves.. uh-oh.. time we do an update isn't it?

ok.. guys mainly all in ns right.. oh, except yu pai. he is living like opposite my hall now, in prince george's park residences in nus. he told me that he saw zhihua in nus before. then for myself, i have seen lydia, who is doing dentistry now. and oh! just remembered.. do you guys remember yang yu? she is staying in pgp as well.. sometimes i see her in the morning. and yes, meishi is my class mate in one of our modules.. we are like learning the difference between mind and brain.. haha. but well, she is doing business admin la. maybe still others in nus, but i just never get to see them..

as for myself, i'm staying in king edward VII hall and doing chemistry as a major. no, it is not because of mr sam ok.. haha. but i do like chemistry la. but it is more like physics actually.. studying so much quantum physics now, for it's the basis for the atom. by the way, nus has mid term break on the week of 25th sept.. does ntu have? coz i really want to go back to school to see all our beloved teachers. sort of a belated teacher's day thing i guess.. but more of to go back to see them la.. i miss them. and of course, if we can arrange a class outing of sorts.. that would be great!!! =)

hm, just thought that i would do my part in updating the class blog.
anyway, did you all watch campus superstar finals? gosh, all of a sudden, i feel so proud for hc. of course, not as if zhiyang's win has anything to do with the school la. but i just feel so proud of him and so proud of hwa chong. then all of a sudden, i feel so OLD. haha.
anyway, have to thank kasster for organising the class bbq. it was good to see everyone back again, and suddenly, i can see everyone 10 years down the road, all very successful in their careers. then when we meet again, there will be engineers, dentists, accountants... wow! haha.

I guess, class contribution and sharing helps lots lots. Me zhihua and yuxi were discussing abt it just now and we realized, part of our fantastic results must gui1 gong1 to the class. Heh. Hoorah to us! =)

And of course, to all our wonderful teachers, really cannot do without them. All the encouragement and effort to spit blood to give us extra lessons (sam lee's mon 3 hr nagging lesson) and numerous consultations ("fill up the consultation list! I got limited time!") and to force us to do tutorials (g tan's "hand up by 8am morning" policy). Heh. Really gotta thank them. For without them, how can we survive jc??? =)

Personally, I would like to give special thanks to sam lee for all his understanding (towards our numerous "bad deeds") and guidance and concern for the class. =) Really appreciate all the help he has given me. =) Thank you mr lee! =D

And to everyone else. Now that results are here, it's time for us to each head on to our individual path. We will still organize class outings k? And you guys must turn up!!! =D Heh. Yay 68 rocks!!! Woohoo~~~

Haha I have not blogged for a long long time in case you have not noticed... (my personal blog's stagnant for the moment heh. =P)

Anyway, this blog's rather stagnant too so I shall add some stuff!!! =) Today was class lunch. A pretty neat affair, no big hoohas and stuff. Simple. But also a relief from schoolwork, so it's quite good ba. =) It's been awhile since our last class gathering anyway, so yep yep. =)

hiya peeps!!! yeah must got have to write this. hcjc band's combining with 3 other jc bands: srjc, jjc n nyjc, to hold a band concert: "Tim Reynish with College Winds". we're inviting this da4 pai2 conductor, Tim Reynish to conduct for us the pieces and the band's darn big (considering that it's 4 jcs combined. =P). it'll be rather cool so come support your fellow classmates!!! (which is me n alwyn of course. heh. =P) oh... pieces playing would include Persis Overture, Tails Aus Dem Vood Viennoise, Popstage, Fantillusion, Jericho and many more! heh. (ok.. i know it's abit no point putting this down cos i doubt you all know the pieces but oh well.. haha.. at least you all know what's being expected. =P)

ouch! i'm now nursing a sore butt and some aching shoulders. all from the cycling from yesterday's outing.. maybe it's time to start doing my homework instead of playing all day.. it's really madness. if you know what i am busy with, u will know why. pw, ocip, huang cheng prep. and i have to hand in 1 mcq, 2 case studies and 3 essays!!?! gosh.. can just die lah.
but hm, one good thing. I AM NO MORE THE CT REP!!! wahahahahahahah! really what i call jie tuo. at least i am not so busy now. but who ask me go and be saboed for the ocip media group leader? nothing is finalised yet, and i dun think i have time to ask them out for meeting lah. siao. k lah. just wanna say, "CONGRATS SEEKIE!!" and to the new class com, must do a good job yeah? hahahahha. and those who need to, do your econs homework. :(

i have a PLAN!!!!

let's go cycling and rollerblading and what not, then go marine parade for lunch!!!!

and then, continue the what-nots till night, then go marina bay for steamboat!!! wahahahaha!!!!

actually i would prefer night cycling la, very fun one! around 40km, from east coast to pasir ris and back again, if go at around 1 to 5, very little traffic, so quite safe....... maybe get lost only.....
and night cycling rocks!!!! just around 10 bucks for so much fun!!!

and also it's not that tough la, will have a few pit stops along the way, i think even girls can finish (heh heh.) but then hor, need a chalet as final destination and clean up and sleep. butt will hurt a lot!!!

so please go book a chalet leh!!

yay!!! sch hols are here!!! whoppie!!! =D but of course to our class hols started like since dunno when larh.. after exams i think... heehee.. but anyway. yep lots of plans to go out guys? sure thing one right? i quite sad.. today had to come back home to monitor my piano tuning.. so couldn't go out. nvm.. after that i can play my piano already n i'll have plans tomorrow n thereafter!!! yippie!!! =D

mon's east coast class outing!!! who's going? let's try try to make this a whole class affair thingy leh.. den more fun. hehe.. oh maybe someone can bring camera again! not me.. i didn't volunteer hor.. haha.. yay i think i might wanna learn how to roller blade.. but scared fall down.. ok nvm.. still thinking about it..
